Investment in New Energy Storage Facility at Valborgen Ltd.

In 2025, Valborgen Ltd. successfully completed the construction of a local energy storage facility with a capacity of 723 kWh and a power output of 300 kW. The system is connected to our rooftop photovoltaic power plant (172.8 kWp) and is designed for self-consumption.

This facility stores the daily surplus production from the solar plant and provides electricity for our operations during nighttime hours.

With this investment we:

•Reduce our carbon footprint

•Use solar energy more efficiently

•Enhance the company’s sustainability and competitiveness

The project was carried out with the support of Sub-measure 4.2 “Investments in Processing/Marketing of Agricultural Products” under the Rural Development Programme 2014–2020.

We have been offering quality meat products since 1991, when we first opened our doors as a family business. Since then, we have continued to grow and develop our business, and in 2002 we opened our first own store at 2 Asen Halachev St. in the city of Pleven.
